Every Hollowday season I have a window.
I call it Mercy’s Hollowday Window, because that sounds important.
I decorate it with little trees, a toothpick tree like Chad's mom used to make, shiny ornaments, lights, and one of those tiny Christmas villages where every window glows and it always seems to be Christmas Eve.
Then I sit beside it and watch the snow come down.
There’s just something about Christmas when you’re looking through a window. The lights seem brighter. The barn feels warmer. And for a few minutes, everything looks exactly the way you remember Christmas looking when you were little.
That’s what this candle is supposed to feel like.
Mercy’s Hollowday Window is a 12 oz. soy candle scented with bayberry ... that wonderfully green, warm, slightly spicy fragrance that has smelled like Christmas for generations.
It smells old-fashioned in the very best way.
Like colored lights glowing through the window. Decorations you’ve had forever. Christmas music playing somewhere in the house. And staying up just a little later because you don’t want Christmas Eve to be over yet.
