This bar was inspired by my grandma Holly’s famous pickles…which my mom Molly still makes every summer when the cucumbers start taking over the kitchen counters.
So naturally…we turned that whole memory into soap.
Grandma Holly’s Pickles is made with goat milk, real cucumber puree, dillweed essential oil, clove essential oil, and a touch of sea salt for a bar that feels cool, creamy, fresh, and wonderfully summery without being harsh or overpowering.
Cucumber has long been loved in skincare for its soothing, hydrating, and cooling properties, especially during the hotter months. Dill essential oil is known for its cleansing and calming qualities and gives the bar its soft fresh-from-the-garden character. A touch of clove essential oil adds warmth and depth while also being appreciated for its purifying properties. And salt helps create a harder, longer-lasting bar while offering a gentle mineral-rich cleanse that leaves skin feeling refreshed and soft.
The result is a skin-loving soap with a fresh herbaceous scent that somehow smells exactly like summer at the farm feels.
Which, according to Grandma Holly, probably means somebody left the screen door open again.
Aprox. 4.5 oz bar (most are a bit more)
Raw goat milk, saponified oils of coconut, olive, avocado, shea butter. Cucumber puree, essential oils of dillweed, & clove. Sea salt. A sense of wonder.
