Our motto is "Goats First"

We put our goats ahead of the bottom line. We don't see them as "things" or "livestock", they are wonderful, intelligent, funny, caring, sweet souls. 

We don't force breeding, we don't force milking, We don't separate Moms from babies, we only take milk when the kids are weaned. We never send goats to auction or slaughter. We don't send away males or non-producing or retired females. 

We are creating a farm model that combines a for-profit farm, with a sanctuary. ...and it's working! 

This fundraiser is geared towards setting up an additional pasture to let our main pasture recover a bit (this helps control parasites that can make goats sick) ..so we have to get additional fencing and goat shelters up...we also need to have a full barn cleanout done, and put in several new hay racks.
