{Aaah...} Poison Ivy Relief Soap, was developed because we deal with poison ivy every year...and we needed relief! This also works great for poison sumac, nettles, poison oak, bug bites, and other minor skin irritations.
Folklore says there are many natural remedies for poison ivy or other skin irritations. Jewelweed is said to neutralize the oils that cause poison ivy rashes as well as relieve itching. You will almost always find jewelweed growing very near poison ivy. Plantain is said to relieve all types of itching. Use this soap if there’s a chance you’ve been exposed to poison ivy. If you already have poison ivy or other skin irritation, wash with the soap and rinse, then use the soap again and let it dry on the skin.
We've researched the best remedies for the dreaded ivy, and are thrilled with this soap! We combine our goat milk, with jewelweed and plantain leaf (both picked here at the farm!), brewed black tea, oats, and tea tree oil!
